And for GoC actualy right as we speak/type i am in GoC diggin and yes it is hard, but i fail to see how this means it isnt accesible, i alone in my diggin gear can get thru it.... with a healer and a AoD u wont have any problem moving around in GoC, this is where i fail to see ur point, GoC just has the things im looking for, i need to watch my radar (and no i dont want agro to have a different colour, that is numbing down the game for me, sorry to say) and my screen while im diggin, not paying attention will get me punished and that is what it should be like.

Also i strongly believe new content is needed, just to prevent oldtimers to get bored.... and many already got bored with Ryzom before u or me even joined this game.

There are several types of feedback. Your was the type "disagreeing with some points, but give no explanation, while ignoring the most of the text, specially the main point" - in my book that is trolling at it's finest.
And yet you wonder that I don't like it.

And yes, Im looking for an easy way our for myself. I dug there for more than a month, got my Master MA there, yet I need an easy way.
Don't think for a second that I may actually wish it to be easier for someone else, I want it for myself only. Yep. That's how mean I am.

As you probably not noticed, most of the changes I mentioned were mentioned as optional. Treat radar change as optional, you need it, you enable it, you don't want to use it: have it your way.

Yet, you fail to see my main point:
MOST OF THE HIGH LEVEL AREAS ARE UNUSED BY PLAYERS.

Is it clear now? Shall I create map with areas marked as used and unused for you? I'll do it if you need....

To be honest I am not aware of the number of Jungle masters.
But one thing is sure: since Zorai armors looks horrendous according to my taste, I'll never learn jungle, nor zora armor crafting.

And let me remind you I have not told that it would be hard to master forest. It's not hard. But you are condemned to dig on one(two) single area. Near SS it's completely secure, even a low lvl char can do it.

ehh, i'd say remove region meaning and spread tp's thru continent so they would more or less cover area equally (ofcourse region chat would be continent wide... )

renaming items for the sake of renaming (client side only), should be doable easy actually, but to show it server side for everyone... bad idea.

People would kill each other for it. Heck, why not? Make it craftable item from one special new-opmat (available only at one -new op) and people WILL kill each other for it.

but... but... what about non-pvp'ers ?

you can, you just dont want to.

Humans are creatures of habit; why try harder when it can be done the easy way? Keep that in mind.

Most of the thing you summed up as void areas, impossible or to to hard are simply wrong. I regularly hunt in the Lagoons of Loria, as well as many others. I have gone hunting in Heretic's Hovel or gone foraging for mission materials. I can get any material I want in Grove of Confusion, which includes excellents in the middle of the maze. I can trek through the upper part of the Lagoons of Loria wih minimal to none wildlife spotting me, trekking through Heretic's Hovel with minimal killing in a duo team. As a 'neutral' I can hunt anywhere in Void, Scorched Corridor or Grove of Confusion; I have mastered Prime Roots (Umbra, Wastelands, Underspring), Lakeland and Forest Foraging without a single PR ticket or direct ticket to a level 250 region, even did 40 foraging levels in Bounty Beaches without Altar access.

It is not impossible, it's not even that hard. You just need to have knowledge on your surroundings, know what you're doing, have a guild or friends willing to aid you, be persistant and accept not all things come as easily as elsewhere.

If there's anything wrong then it is that most of those regions are actually already to easy; that players have grown used to the easy way and see no reason to try things a bit more challenging; that a boosted Kami tolerance no longer 'forces' players to explore or team up for extra protection; that to easy access to abundant Prime Root excellents and supremes hardly makes players look for excellent materials in the lands on the surface, ...

Regions don't need to be made easier to relate to Void; make everything harder instead.
You don't need any additional Altars, there's already enough easy access available.
Even more dynamic mob behaviour sounds like something I could agree on. But you can just have people on guard duty. There's just as much social aspect in that.
Those materials are present; just start exploring and tracking. If you can't get there alone, get some help.
Cut off the mektoub's legs, make them teleportable and call them 'storage chests'. Really, if you think mektoubs aren't usefull then you've been using them the wrong way.

Thank you for your excellent answer! I am really happy to hear that there are people who are committed to overcome challenges and they do it successfully.

However let me remind you I have never used the word impossible in my post. I am aware that all those deeds you mentioned are possible. But you have not addressed another word: practical (which i meantioned 5 times)

As humans are creatures of habit, yes, but humans also desire changes. Varietas delectat. However it is possible to dig in the deepest of GoC, people don't do it, because its not practical. It takes lots of time to get there, lots of (seemingly) wasted time.

I truely admire your accomplishments as neutral, but for me it seems (and thats an observation, not a fact, so I may be wrong here) most of the people are not willing to overcome these hardships. Therefore either my observations are wrong, or you are the exception who behaves differently then most of the people I know and I met.

Please if anyone else wish to share his/her experience about hunting/digging in heretic hovel, post a reply, so I could get better overview of the situation.

It would be your task to escort me to a mat source chosen my me on raum.ryzom.com, and stay there until I dig 200, which would be clocked.
After that we could post here the result as "This is how much time it takes to forage 200 mats in deep GoC for a two-person team, so others could be encouraged to explore regions they never did before. If an unfortunate event of DP would occur, we should post that too.
Are you in? This experiment would give us some stone-cold facts about accessibility of deep GoC.
