OOC: I'm glad to see an attempt at an event in which the sides are not so cleanly-cut, with a mechanical possibility for fighting on a side that may seem non-standard.

OOC: All-in-all, this was a great event with much happening and several sides well represented. It's the first of any official event I've been to so I have nothing to compare it to save a few smaller events with past guild mates.
Whether everyone agrees with the semantics, I think we all had fun and a few surprises were well setup by event managers. Kudos to you all.
IC:
Nothing is perfect and often can't go without some minor incidents. At one point, I was following a few "runaways" thinking they were marauders who had sneaked out of the arena. *big grins*
It was scarey, but maybe "providential", that some homins turn against each other in a slight chance that Akilla could make it and who knows, maybe she did because of that heroic effort, showing all homins were not totally in agreement with an unprovoked attack. (Let's not get into the who started throwing the first punch thing). The paranoid often hits before you even knew there was a problem. It can be said of both sides, in my opinion.
"I still get uneasy when homins fight amung themselves", Drachle whispers to himself.
So what I hold dear from this is still the fact that anything is possible when homins set their minds to it and limits are pushed forward the more we get together and work alongside.
Incidently, if anyone wonders why the Nomad of all, a peaceful atysian, would assist in such an endeavor that goes against his basic principles of peace, I only assist in healing and raising the comatosed and I would have done so for the marauders if my powers would have let me as well. An endless war can only serve to pave the way for other avenues. I'll leave that for you to ponder. Besides there were far more dangers than the marauders and Akilla in that part of the Prime Roots and I hate to see a good homin die unaided.
