That would be great but let's try not to turn Ryzom into Sims 2 Online

Anyway that would lead, if we want to be realistic, to permadeath by old age. Unless you want to find yourself with your great great great great great grandson

*shudders at the thought* the players will be spending more time fighting for control over the government rather than actually ruling it

This aren't my ideas - both features were after realase in game manual but seems it gone with Nervax

I've already expressed my views on ageing in Ryzom - I think it would be a good thing. Turn the old compost over and use it to encourage new growth.

I would like to see the unexplored part of Atys and the other worlds we once were promised .... yes, that means Atys needs to start moving forward and stop this circle where we go nowhere
It is all about the Lore that was envisioned from the start, the dreams.....

I believe us "old school" are leaving....because we've been playing in the same world for too long. We expected to be living a story and evolve in it. We've had nothing for over a year. The book has been shut after the episode 2 event (unless you count the RP events that have followed but to me those are just a small paragraph) and the storytellers have left the book to rot on a shelf. I beg GF to pick it up and open it at the page where the story was left. Because it's Ryzom's biggest asset. Because the story is unique. Because an unfinished story is as depressing to me as the loss of a ring, or any precious object.
You are the pen. We are the paper. Now...START WRITING !

diplomacy, We were told we could influence the NPC tribes and maybe even the racial relationships.
Im not talking about raising personal fame with them, but making them alter their relationships with each other.. reconcile the Slash and Burn with the Matis, getting the Slavers to stop hunting the Trykers..
exterminating the Woven Bridles root and branch
all hope of that gone now, replaced by the dumbed down faction fame system

Lathaniel used to go on and on about the bombs in Beta. One was able to bounce a heal bomb of their packer and heal themselves

Overpowered self heal, yes..but awesome. He also mentioned something about a pheonix animation from beta, sounded really cool but I'm not sure about it.
Ah, and I was once told about Ninja Yubo...that had to have been cool.
And from what I know of...a few months after I started the game (after release) there was a real Kitin invasion that lasted longer than a day. We had to dig and craft to provide the npc army with gear. We got rewards for killing the invading Kitin, we got rewards for providing for the army. We saw the results of our labor. It was awesome, and I miss it. I wish I would have known more about screenshots, and well...Ryzom at that time.

- Guild trainors: still have empty room where those were supposed to be present in Guild Halls, with specific skills and such (maybe even racial specific which could be learnt from guild trainors only).
- Invasions: did we forget that the threat was the kitin, not the other faction.
- Heal animation: the wing animation: saw some pics, those were awesome.

Guild quests done for tribes to gain control over Outposts for example.
Actually that was the original reason for me to found a guild.
