Another few questions now I been playing game for few hours.

Let me get this right. At end game lets say u maxed every skill possible. You can be everything you want to be? So theres not limitation like example WoW being a Mage only or a Warrior only. Only being able to use certain items by ur class?
Yes exactly, (Freddy Mercury Quote :D )you can be everything you want to be, just turn yourself into everything you thought that you could ever be. ;)

IF you max out everything, wich as far as I know, nobody has managed yet. Some come close though, after a loooong time of playing. (about two years in the least)

Thanks
Well, the first pair of boots has the better protection and is somewhat lighter.
While the second pair has the higher Quality level, it´s made from heavier stuff wich did not grant any good protection and endurance of the material. You could compare it to a pair of clay briks on your feet ;) heavy, but will break once hit with something hard ;)

Just keep trying, you will find a good recipe someday if you are into puzzles ;)

You second pair of boots are deffinatly better.

Whenever a hit that deals damage is allocated to you, the game takes two values into consideration: overall protection factor (in %) and the max vs protection against that particular type of damage (in raw numbers). Your armour will ONLY absorb/protect you for as much damage as the LOWEST VALUE of the two.

Someone cuts you with a sword (slashing damage) while wearing boots n°1:
- 16.4% or 0: 0 is obviously the lowest so you receive full damage each time you are being dealt damage to.
Someone cuts you with a sword (slashing damage) while wearing boots n°2:
- 7.6% or 6: depending on the severity of the damage your armour will either absorb 7.6% or 6 damage points of the damage being dealt to you.

That was a tad confusing :(

what he means is that suppose an enemy was supposed to do 100 damage to you.

if the boots have 16% resistance, then the damage you actually recuieve has 16 taken from it, unless it is more than the max protection, wich in this case is 0, so you actually get the full damage.

Enjoy your stay on Silan for now, while its strictly missioned based there, it does offer some good missions (Chiang' last few missions) and rewards for them.
I would "suggest" you stay on Silan until your within the range of lvl 35 to 40 in either magic or melee but, this is not to say you cannot jump across earlier. By waiting a bit you will help yourself alot though. :)
Look us up once you've made the "great leap" you'll find lots of folks willing to help you make the transition to mainland life.
