Re: Calling all in Cho
not that it really matters since kami and karavan kinda work together atm, like the way it should be
Re: Calling all in Cho
I may get flamed for this but being bruatally honest, Ryzom does not have enough players for one server let alone 2.
Also Cho IMO is loosing Ryzom new players because they sign in for the trial, pick Cho, see it dead as a fish in the desert, assume Ryzom as a game is dead and leave. I almost fell to that my self. Right before I uninstalled I made a character in Arispotle just to type /who and thats why I am still here.

Re: Calling all in Cho
Once accounts opened after "The Troubles" I arrived in a nearly empty Liberty Lake but that finally started to change and seems to have peaked in late January and February. Until the past week or two it hasn't been anything like dead.
Has there really been a "major Exodus" to Aris Mok? I am curious as I admit it has seemed to get quiet in the last week or two but I thought that might be because a couple of players close to me have gone off to other games.
I will be really saddened to hear if it was more than a couple players, sorry that folks bailed from our effort on Cho when things have just started to look healthy and growing.
I have helped maybe eight people with the Kirosta on RoS in the past month, and I don't log in my character there every day.
EoA has been growing, we have a fair number of new members and DoK seems to be looking strong, I can't tell about the Sentinels (though with my move to Yrk this weekend I am seeing more of your folks). I was particularly heartened by the arrival on the scene of Rydon's Irregulars as it looked to me like a watershed that the server could support a larger number of larger guilds.
I really hope I will not be forced to move to Aris, and frankly some folks there may not like it much either. I really loathe PvP, which I can't help but see as a pathetic mockery and loathe PvP "culture" even more. PvP on Cho now is just among friends, which is great and even fun to watch.
Given PvP culture and me being Kami-aligned I expect I will have two choices, verbally smacking down every gank-groupie and rofl-hyena that starts spewing half-witticisms or filling my ignore list, I will try to remember to do the latter. yay.
Well, that's me disheartened,

Re: Calling all in Cho
I know of at least 5 people personally and then im not counting the people i speak to who i meet in Yrk or w/e who tell me accectly the same after i offer some cats, yea i would like some but im transfering to Aris in a day.... And about our guild, it almost feels for me like im back in november / december, around the times i play the most, im mostly the only on or with one other person online... we went from 30 active members to hardly 10.
Im not gonna flame u, but where accectly did u type /who? On the island or on the mainland? I strongly believe if u typed /who on the mainland 2 / 3 weeks ago u wouldnt made thihs statement cuz the island in no way reperesents the mainland, also understand that the problem only got a problem since a week or 2. This is accectly when i saw everyone telling me they where gonna transfer.I may get flamed for this but being bruatally honest, Ryzom does not have enough players for one server let alone 2.

Re: Calling all in Cho
Sounds like all the Kami veterans who left Aris for Cho are being called back for the OP battle frenzy. Dont really think thats ethical, if you want to influence the game political landscape, you should be a resident.. and if you have moved to a new server I would hope you would display some loyalty to it.
But ethics are not important now, are they ?

Re: Calling all in Cho
I logged into Cho last night to see what the population was like and did a /who in Yrk, I was the only Homin in the Matis main town.
This looks really bad to any new player going to the main land, if I was new to the game I may have logged out and never logged in again.
I don't want to see another merge but if it is always that bad, GF will have no choice.
