Yeah, my sound is always turned off in SoR. In OP battles it slows everything down too much, and in day to day playing, it is just too irratating Some of the sounds are really great, the gingo baying in the distance, the cries of the bilobi in the forest...but it just gets to be too much around a herd of kipee or a team of melee fighters.

and let's not forget the fact that all races sound exactly the same.

I mean... how in the world do Tyker and Fyros sound alike?

I agree with these points, and I have the ingame music turned down pretty quiet, but I love the kipees singing and the messabs - or raspals, for me - whistling. I used to plug a little resin in each ear when digging on Kipee Mull, true, but turn the sound off? Never. Hmm, I'll try that at my next outpost battle, though, I sure need to reduce my client lag then.

I would love to have the old sound the Kipees made in beta. ;)

There were different sounds for Kipees during the Beta, sounded high pitched insect like, like whistling on gras. Fitted perfectly, I still don't understand why it had to be replaced with those lions. Just set it back to beta, while we on it, the healing spells too. Thank you!

This made me laugh aloud :D . Please don't tease us so, Calevin, give us a sample.

I love the sound design, but yeh I can understand wanting to tweak some of them. I'll be playing and my wife will know what mob's I'm near from the other side of the room. :)
