Not as important as the bug fix tho, cus the fun I could have is enough reward for me.

Don't let the playful banter in this thread fool you -- the heal bug is extremely annoying, even frustrating. I've participated in non-OP PvP once, and having to continually /invite or ask for a re-team in around chat between casts isn't very fun, and certainly not how this was intended... yet this annoyance has persisted for a long time, so I can't imagine how much this must irk the long-time PvP'ers.
To give you an idea of how messed up this system is, I accidentally healed a tagged Kami and stayed and team. As soon as I cast a bomb heal on my Karavan teammates, however, I got kicked out.
Huh?
If someone at GameForge put their attention into fixing this long-present bug, it would be very appreciated.

Quick question... How the honor points worked, and why they removed it? For those of us that wheren't here when it was working....

honor point was gained in EP2 event (temple building). EP2 land was faction vs faction pvp area.
in event you digged mats and turning them over for faction points or got mission and killed "enemy" faction players... or should i say ganked foragers because for fighters, there were no point (no faction point reward) for protecting diggers (from enemy faction or from kitins).

So, if they think about reactivate Honor points, wish they make in the way that ganker was not rewarding (More so, try to avoid ganking).
Could be a good opportunity to make ganking less attractive. It's not so incoherent that you lose "honor" if kill someone with a pick in hand. In EP2 could be a reason for this, but that reason no longer exists; both kami and kara needs a good mat flow, and surely will not reward kill diggers of any band. And while the kami don't like people abusing the mats, that's why kami tolerance is for (Even if now is very high).

ahh, other thing they (devs) did, was to disable kami tolerance in ep2 areas
anyway, ep2 was about digging and only way to stop other faction was killing diggers. i used ganking, because it usually was one hit, one kill... (usually max honor points from the kill because they were calculated using highest skill, which in most cases was forage

But now there is no temple wars, no need of mats, so no need of ganking (BTW, it's a little dummy for a MMORPG company make a ganker-fest like that...).
What I say is, if GF takes the SunCe idea, they can change it a little for penalyze ganking. Losing "honor" points if the kill was harvesting and with pick in hand at first strike.
Could be a good think for this game, I think.

This sounds complicated (would have to have timers and things so that people didn't quickly eqiup pick as someone casts etc), but interesting.

After what i have seen of him ingame, yes, he tends to be silly, but not a Noob in my eyes, and yes, the honour points can be a good thing for ryzom, and the heal bug must be done with.
