I dont think this is somethign u guys wish to achieve, is it? If u have such big problems with how GF or Nevrax handle things, please in the name of Jena, use this forum! Dont spam the universe channel with ur rantings and negative feedback about Ryzom, because in the end, i think u love this game as much as me and the few new players that could decide to subscribe for a month to check it out.

Peace, Mok.

p.s. I really wonder if this is happening on the other servers aswel.

That's really funny Mok, ppl have been complaining about not being able to get help on trainee island since I started playing the game 3 weeks ago.

I cancelled my subscription after the 50th time I got ***** out for answering noobs questions... but now your all concerned about perception based on the /universe channel... LoL!

Chase off all the noobs, then wonder why GameForge can't afford Jolt... freakin classic... haha

I got $100 says I can login right now and ask a perfectly valid game related question and get ***** out for 30 minutes from 6 different people at once, there's your damn universe channel, unless the CSR's are gone, in which case I might actually renew my subscription.

They locked the channel when I asked questions... bet they aren't doing that now though huh.

You weren't very concerned when the noobs couldn't get help. According to the IRC sessions, 10% of the noobs that download the game sign up.

Gee, I wonder why that is... and that figure comes from before the CSR / Jolt / Nevrax / Clique of insane proportions issues.

Westwind

P.S.

Dear Gameforge,

Create a damn global chat channel so noobs can get help without getting ***** out for asking questions or answering them... make some quests on the mainland... create actual loot tables for the mobs so everyone doesn't have to dig to make money, and finally, get rid of the csr's who ***** out everyone but their friends.

They have loot tables. Are you saying you dislike that they drop materials and not equipment?

yea i remember ur socialising on uni chat... also the topic u openend after that.... that got the whole universe controverse up.... also.... i ALWAYS will answer a question asked on the unichat if not some1 else gets to me before it... ur claims are pure personal. And to say things about the csr...... lol i dont think u want to know the complaint tickets they got about u, yes U... tbh i send one to them 2 after u had taken over universe to say how everyone who complains could kiss ur ass...first response i got from a CSR was, yes we know and u arent the only complaining about this particulair player.... that says more about u then the CSR's u kept attacking everytime u choose to be helpful in the uni chat..... people like u made most people on Cho block uni.... wonder why they didnt get help? Look at urself. All u did for 3 weeks, Westwind, was complain and whine and saying u have a freedom of speech and wont follow up global instructions about uni chat.... Ur suprised they eventually muted u?

I'm saying the only way to make money in Ryzom is to dig.

I certainly remember you're valid questions on /uni westwind, it would usualy comprise of: "skinny dipping party at dyron", yeah very valid question oh and my personal favourate: "Any noobs looking for a good guild" then the ensuing argument (created and sustained by you i might add) about how that was a "valid" question and you had a rite to ask it.
yeah well done you for you're valuable input.

Odd how I managed to make more money for time online with my non digger fighter on Ari then I do with my digger on Cho then.

Well... I have to say that dig/craft makes more money than hunt/craft (Or withouit crafting). In general; obviously always can be exceptions.

And more is your level, more is the difference. A lvl150 melee gets the same quantity of mats from mob than a lvl1, but a lvl 150 harvester gets ten times than a level 1 harvester.

I kill three-four mobs with my melee 115 in five minutes, giving me 20 mats, adn then the downtime.
In 5 minutes I can forage +50 mats. Without downtime.

All of this is about solo, of course. Hunting in team could be more rewarding, and, of course, more funny.

They locked the /universe channel after I asked a question.

The question was "If a scampering yubo scampers, what does a timerous capryni do?'

The /universe channel is supposed to be used for asking questions, for answering them, or for saying hello and goodbye.

The reason I told everyone to kiss my ass was because I got really tired of 5 tell windows opening up everytime I asked a question or answered one... from people ***** me out for using the /universe channel to ask questions or answer them.

You remember the socializing... lol, that's because YOU are one of the people who ***** me out every time I asked a question or answered one... but you don't seem to recall they were questions or answers... only that it was me. Responding to you ***** me out was considered socialyzing.

For example... "Any noobs need a good guild?"

That is a game related question, and I got ***** out for that 1 line... for 30 minutes straight, from 6 different people....

That line was the first and only thing I typed in /universe for 3 days... and the ***** that ensued was haenous.... 4 pages of /universe chat ***** me out... but you weren't really concerned then were you?

You were one of the people ***** me out... for trying to help noobs, with a simple question.

Ask yourself 3 very important questions right now... what the hell was your post about? And was my question actually a question, and furthermore, was the intention of my question to help noobs?

What part of logic are you missing here? Do you not understand that by NOT helping noobs, GameForge can't afford things like Jolt? You do understand that my question was really a question? You understand that it was a helpful question? Do you understand this is why people are now ranting in the /universe channel? It's because you chased off the noobs with rules that don't make sense, and now GameForge has to get rid of Jolt. Is that clear enough for you? They spent a lot of money advertising and I spent a lot of time with noobs on trainee island, 10% of which actually chose to subscribe.

I was just trying to help them... and like them, you ***** me right off the server for asking questions or answering them....

Good god.
