Most zorai are high enough lvl that they've moved to other regions. I spend 90% of my time in maidens currently. Only time I go back to cities is when i die or need armor/wpn/skill upgrades. Players who havnt moved onto other regions will probly be based out of the other cities that offer less of a run to get at higher npcs.
As for the masks, i dont roleplay so i cant relate to a "bonding" with the character. That being said, the masks reminded me a lot of a jason mask which i thought was cool.
Where are most of the Zorai?
Re: Where are most of the Zorai?
LOL. Maybe we should suggest personality analysis based on Zorai mask as another new feature.
Zorai - Hoisin; Matis - Oreilly

I adore the Zorai... they are part of the reason I play the game.
That said I'm still on the newbie land... one day I shall reach the mainland...

I'm a few day old to the City of Intuition area and I mostly see the same peoples over and over.
Where is everyone, I mean we must be more than a few.
Where is everyone, and when should I get there, if else where of course.
Depends what you want to do. After you hit a certain point, Intuition isn't challenging enough. With the exception of that darn Rakya, I didn't find anything in Intuition that wasn't really soloable by level 50 as a melee.
We're off in Maiden Grove. We can team and kill things up to level 84 so far (which is about 20 levels above me) without any real danger and those are great for crafter mats and the like while I practice crafting. I see a lot of people grouping in Umbra as well.
I enjoy wandering. I've been to the entrances to the Primes (not crazy enough to enter them yet), up to the Outback, and around to the outposts and along the goo fields.
My preference is to stay in Maiden for hunting or Umbra to prospect and only return when I need to empty my packs or if someone needs me to make armour or weapons. Frankly, if Maiden Pond had a stable, you might never see me. We Zorai tend to be far-roaming. Our cities seem to be for necessity, but our lives are out in the Wilds.

My only major problem with Zorai is the mask paintings. I guess I'm just non-blessed enough to remember the early days of beta when the mask paintings and hairstyles were actually really cool.
I love being blue and really tall and can't wait to level up (if possible) enough to go hang out with my Matis guild, but I will always return home to visit.
I do kinda miss having a lot of people to do things with though.

Zora was once thriving, I left Fyros CHAR to make a Zorai and the players were awesome, very helpful and knowledgeable.
Then, one fine Patch 1 day........

Heh, I play Zorai but I am NEVER in CoI, I'm usually harvesting in either The Void, Grove of Umbra, or Lands of Umbra, and wheen I'm not there I'm probably in the Matis lands.
Re: Where are most of the Zorai?
Yes, some Foragers are out and about too, but that just means you are not available to assist in grouping for XP. It is nearly impossible to find an appropriate group within specific levels and equipment among the Zorai right now.botello wrote:Heh, I play Zorai but I am NEVER in CoI, I'm usually harvesting in either The Void, Grove of Umbra, or Lands of Umbra, and wheen I'm not there I'm probably in the Matis lands.

I don't spend all that much time worrying about how my face looks, to be honest I rarely see it. Some people might not think my mask is all that great.... care factor? like... zilch. All vanities aside, I'm one of the people of the jungle, follower of the Kami, a Zorai hunter, explorer, forager and builder. You may not like our appearance, but you will love seeing us when you need a dependable blade by your side to drive back the kitin hordes.
