And the importance and uniqueness of different civilizations takes another blow...
I never saw the reuniting issue to be a problem. Usually, at least one of the separated homins joins a guild relatively quickly and that guild takes initiative to reunite the persons involved. Nowadays we also have the Universe channel in which a voiced problem of separation may find sympathy among stronger characterss that are willing to lend a hand.
Maybe I'm missing the point, or maybe players aren't supposed to be as patient anymore. After all, I can remember my first Gfunk trek from Yrkanis that ended in a disheartening crash before Thesos, having to wait until I caught the next trek running through days later, and finally succeeded in reaching the magnifiscent Pyr amid much glee. Isn't that how it should be -- homins banding together to forge a widening path between our civilizations?
