Without wanting to turn this into the same old neutral/faction debate about TPs, neutrals shouldn't be on the same footing as factioned players. Until neutrals actually become a third faction (Tryton or something) then I and many others (including quite a lot of neutrals I've spoken to) don't believe that neutrals should have the same advantages as factioned players. Zahan discussed a good idea with me however, about the canopy. Canopy opens, Kara have access to it (almost like PR with sups, lots of aggro etc) but Kami cannot get there easily at all. Karavan cannot easily get to the PR, Kami have full access. Neutrals get access to 1/2 of each. Lots of imbalance issues here, supreme inflation etc, but if discussed and worked out, it (in a fantasy future where GF have infinite money, devs, and time) would bring balance to the whole issue.

there should be "whoa, i poped sup" moments (i'm sure every pr digger remembers those from their early pr days).
only one solution for this: 1% chance of poping sup when it's right weather (w/o mats per spot limit).
second is that you dont really dig sup, but equivalent mission mats (non trade) that you can excange for sups (limited per person in season) at special npc. sup mats you get are tradable ofcourse.
anyway, we can dream all we want, but "pr tp's, no patrols, sup/boss pops in server reboot, hawker/merchant wannabe exploit" are here to stay. unfortunately.

Not necessarily We just have to wait and see if GF listens to some of us. The changes shuoldn't be too difficult to implement I wouldn't have thought. neutrals have 33% penalty for tp's (pr/q250 area tp's), benefits ? oh yeah, not affected by spires.
factioned has 100% of all tp's, penalty ? well, was supposed to be spires but those will (never) be ingame.
i anything needs to be given for factioned player, it's spires (not neccessary pvp only). then it would actually mean something to be factioned

yes, yes, yes. bring back kitin patrols. The whole game is too easy these days, especially PR which at least used to be challenging.

I have no problem with KP, if neutrals get PR TPs.
Otherwise forget it. Had enough of neutral nerfing.

i dont think so (it may even be too high, maybe even 0.1% for sup)... and i didnt meant to to be "Cast sup only prospect and then you have 1% chance of poping sources" . it will be choice mats but you have 1% chance that one green bubble as sup or 10% chance it to be excellent etc.nillian wrote:This could be a good solution, though is 1% a little extreme?
that way you do you day-to-day pr mat grind, but get "whoa, sup mat" every once in a while
