Oooh sorry Kaetemi.
Whoever wrote the original is surely not pleases to see it, or a Version of it, around here. Doesn´t it make any difference WHO wrote this, or the original?
It´s crap to put it in here and whoever did this is a spiteful kid. Nothing more.
@Souls: My thoughts exactly. Thank you.

got ya some more info;
Ryzom was originally an idea of Philippe Nouhra and Frederic Weil. They then developped it into a full blown "universe bible" including thousand of years of history with the help of Multisim's team. Paul Monk took things up from their work, not from David Cohen.
The .doc's last edit date is 1 April 2005, last printed on 20 February 2004, created by Paul Monk. (look at doc description)

Sorry Keatemi, thanks for the correction.

*grins a bit*
Why are you reacting that touchy to it anyway?
Look, 80% of Atys population don't give a *beep* about the lore anyway (anymore), 50% don't know any of it (and could care less), 25% chose the pale people because they looked the most like elves or humans or had the nicest female hairstyles, and some type "LFG" in region for weeks before realizing that doesn't really work here.
It's us old swashbucklers most of the times that tend to plead to the lore AND have our fun with it. I'm beginning to live with it
Happy New Year's Eve

I got it and glanced over it, then immediately came here to see that Acridel had already done what I was going to do and started a thread.
You're not missing anything by not getting it. Don't wish for it, you'll just ruin your game.

But I want it.. anything to make the game simplier. You know this is a complex game and well I am here for fun and want to enjoy not stress and attempt to decipher. As for lore that is great for those who want that, I am not one who cares so much about lore, race ect. I am here for fun

This really speaks for the validity and professionalism of these open source people doesn't it? As well as serving a fine example of one of the problems we used as criticism at the time...
