Yesterday I experienced the same bug.

Please tell me this doesn't happen to the 'older' characters? Is it just with recently made ones?

Not sure actualy, but, by any chance could it be tied somehow with the presents? In our Guild only one person to my knowlege has been able to get any of the presents at all and He lost some of his stuff the next time he loged in... (just a thought?)

This person is also the only one in the Guild to have been affected by this to my knowlege.

some more info who is and who is not affected would be great.

Yeh I did find two presents right before I logged and this happened. I remember telling my guildmates: "I found an Xmas present!" and one said "congrats". Then I found another...I got something like three egg things and one of those XP crystal thingies.
I am cursed, I think. Also I have made a lot of progress since this has happened, and don't really want them to roll me back.
I got sick, learned to deal with my sickness, and adapted! Life has new meaning for me on Atys! Don't take that away from me!
