Hm, it's just not worth it then, imo. But, maybe I can say that 'cause i have an old Aen set. Bah, someone without a set tell me if you think it's worth it.

i think its worth it.. having an uber rare set(s) of armor is good - its so hard to get its impossible to camp and there wont be 1/2 the players wandering around wearing it.
the problem is so many have aens atm its worth is a bit diluted - especially if the stats and design are the same as the old ones..
ohh and happy xmas kami princess

Hm, I can see how it's worth having an uber set, but I can't see myself going through the MASSIVE amount of trouble. Besides, a really good set of normal HA ql 250 can be better than one of those. As I've been told the stats are all similar to the Aen one now.

Hose, Handschuhe Part, Rüstungsteil : Trousers, gloves part, arms part
From what I can see on french forums, there seems to be more than one kind of loot: Each time was a part of the armur, a "part of a crafting plan" (1/4 apparently) and a kind of mat as well (crystal)
They state on French forums as well to have spoted a new NPC in town name something like "repair artisan/crafter" and they think that the Boss armurs could eventually be crafted by getting 6 plans x 4 quarter part of the plan.
The mats (crystal) would be like OP mats for OP plans....
Seems interesting concept and idea...
here is the thread for those who can speak lil french

Agreed. Right after the patch, I saw some complaining that "it's not about tactics, it's just about zergling rushes"... although, in all fairness, increasing the required number of people from 30 (or whatever it took, never done a Ryzom boss, just adding my experiences from high end encounters in other games) to 50 is really not a different way of thinking. It's just a different scale. And uber armor really should be rare.

Well, in most other games of the genre, high-end encounters gets easier as the game evolves - adding higher level caps, better gear, more people joining... all those things makes the bosses weaker by comparison. I for one think it's great to see the opposite being the case

Rewarding those that's been here from the start. And if that armor is really that common, sounds like it's about time to slow down the supply some. And mind you all, I'm one of those newbs who will have to struggle to get this. Not one of the oldies that can go "nyah nyah, I got it while it was easy".
