I just will post a note about one comment. Equipment degradation. Using equipment that is 'over your head' for lack of a better word does result in rapid degradation. The fact that everyone wants choice or better is your choice. The fact that it takes time to harvest this stuff should make you use it when it is truly needed and not for grinding.

Actually all of our members are told to use gear appropriate to level and the degradation rate is still horrific. It is an actual bug that has been confirmed and being worked on. It happens when you group outside of Majestic Gardens in Fleeting Gardens & Heretic's Hovel. Not sure about up in the Knoll of Dissent as we spend most of our time down south. Other guilds from Zora, Pyr & Fair Haven have, however, seen the same problems. This is not a purely Matis issue and it is most definitely is not an issue related to people wearing gear above their level.

I can confirm that the bug is certainly in effect in Knoll of Dissent. As tertiary tank (being hit maybe once out of every ten times, using plenty of blind/stun), I was stripped of my modi medium armour in less than an hour by ocyx. Granted it was not new (about 1/2 worn out) but that is still excessive wear. All choice mats went into it, too, maybe higher. I may as well get my HP up, and fight naked when doing high level grouping

It's amazing to me the amount of hate generated by casual/regualr players towards those who powergame (especially if said people form guilds). I don't put down casual guilds or guilds with no requirements, but I do promote my guild because I am proud of being in it and of the work that we accomplish as a group.

If you don't like people who can reach high goals they set for themselves fast, then please add every Minyatur member to your mental ignore list. Otherwise, get bent, because we supply equipment and help to all players (free or for reasonable prices) and without us (and other powergamers or well organized guilds like commititus for example) many people would have given up on this game in newbieland. /endrant
