I agree with gol1um, wholehartedly.

I havent been playing Ryzom all that long, but even the feel of the forum community from 2 months ago and today has totally turned to hot steaming piss IMO.

One of the reason i started playing in the first place was the genarally good nature of the community, ryzom was a place to go for relaxation and to have a good time. You didn't have to worry about being constantly flamed (or at least not as often) for posting your opinions. "If you have any question, feel free to ask!" was the general consensus of the community. This however is sadly no longer the state of todays game.

The largest threads are only flame threads, and this can easily be seen by taking a look at what passes for Pg. 1 of our forums now. I myself have tried to start at least 2 game related "help" threads only to have them turn into a forum for the communities (while understandable in ryzom's current condition) totally off topic grievences.

I know this is a deciding time in the life of Ryzom, and understandably, those that are a part of it are pretty hurt by it and what it is currently going through, and rightly so, this is a world that we have come to love dearly.

People who have sunk 2 years of their life into this world are faced with the fact that it is either....dead/dying.....or is going to change drastically for better or for worse if it even stays online at all. While new players either were locked out of coming mainland, with no clear sign as to when they would beable to register and become a permanent inhabitant of Atys. Those that were able to sneak through before the closure of all new accounts are left fending for themselves, with next to no server population, and even fewer of which are in their lvl range.

Nevrax also is not able to be of help as to when the future of ryzom will be more clearly defined as they either cannot speak of proceedings or they simply do not know themselves.

All i can suggest is try to make the best of what we have now friends. If you're feeling like not wasting time lvl'l the last 15 lvls on your 235 Swordsman that may not even be here tommorrow, then re-roll a new toon to see what it was like to start at 0 once again through the eyes of a "noob". If your tired of how Cho/Arispostle feels, then switch servers or make an alt. If your're tired of the state of OP's and PvP (which is either great or total crap depending on how you view it) then give Roleplaying a try for a few days, heck, i'm sure the few RP guilds we have would just love to have ya.

I guess the point i'm tryin to say is, its a game guys. It was fun once, and with a little effort it can be again. Thanks for reading my ramble and hope at least someone other than myself is having a good adventure today. I sure as hell know Beefy's having a blast smashing "Stupid bugs!!" and hope you guys can find at least some thread of hope as well as fun to hold onto.

I just want to know already. I'm sure people who have a lot more time and love invested than I do (not hard to do) would like to know as well.

Everyone is tense so that's when everyone has to be extra nice to compensate!

basically the convinced the judge to let them negotiate with a buyer as they proved that there is a large number of buyers that are interested in paying real money for ryzom and then there are dates posted which i can't remember but are in that little blurb
