I like the idea, and the skills, but I rather follow Kyerna's idea.

And why not make the OP flowers into a craftable material as well?
(wisdom flowers combined with sap, for faster regen, a bit like the OP weapons we have now)

I like the idea of destructive potions as well. (Or just make us destilate stinga rum, for fun!)

Edit: growing flowers and harvesting could be a nice skill too...

to be a useful skill tree, you will need to be able to use it on other people/mobs, in and out of combat.

so along with the "potions", you need some kind of applicator, like an injector (for teammates) or a pump/sprayer (for hostiles), or grenades that can be thrown - creating an area effect similar to existing auras but fixed in place.

so you could toss a couple of toxic/slow bombs out in front of the party, and a health/defensive one just behind the tanks, then run around injecting sap into the casters :p

A long time ago I tried to find out how kipestas could squirt fire, thinking I might be able to give them a taste of their own medicine. Science and alchemy are rather awkward on Atys though :p Just because we have not yet found a a use for Butterfly Wings does not mean they are useless - the Karavan taskmaster in Yrkanis certainly cannot get enough of them :)

Perhaps make it so that a 250 healer, could crystalise a heal, and then trade that crystal to a master alchemist, who could use those crystals COMBINED with regular mats to make self heal potions with maybe 5-10 second cooldowns?
Sure would make a nice addition to dueling, pvp fights, teams fighting. 2vs2 fights and so on :)
