Ryzom

Welcome to Ryzom!!! You an I actually had the same reaction when I first came here barely a few weeks ago. I have played other MMORPGs as well, and NEVER found a community greater and more kind than this one. I also have never found a community in which people would actually have a nice little roleplay session with me, stay IC, and make for a great storyline revolving around our characters. It is a truely wonderful experience, and I hope you stay for awhile.

On the other hand, I'm having to take a break until I figure out how to make this game run smoothely without crashing on me. It has something to do with my computer, I'm sure, so I'm having my boyfriend come and take a look... hopefully to suck him into the world of Atys as well! Anyways, whether or not my characters ever pass yours by in game, I still wish you the best of luck and happy exploring on Atys!

Thank you for the nice responses. I am still enjoying the game and the community. Every time I think I have a handle on things, I find there is something new to learn. I love that I don't have everything spoonfed to me as I learn about the world. I like the brain exercise!

I have guild mates who have been playing on the order of years, and still learn new things every day.

Ryzom is just a complex game. And that's why some of us love it. Of course, it does scare off those who want something simplistic, but oh well... they have other MMOs they can play.

I too am pretty n00bsausetacular and agree with all of your praise of ryzom and its community. Everyone has been friendly, and response to questions from either the community or ingame from moderators has been prompt ,friendly, and forgiving to us noobs.

Without even mentioning any praise for the game itself (which is plentiful =) i think the community so far that i have seen is worth the admitance fee, and why i recently signed up. Hope to see you ingame and thanks for all for making this a good place to be!
