You *must* be kidding. Not even you could honestly stand by such a suggestion.
I agree though, upping the drop rate of cats and flowers would have been nice.
In the previous invasion, allowing the crafters and foragers a way of interacting was fun, and it really made a difference too, and those NPC armies helped out a lot. In this invasion, we are not fielding NPC armies, so I can see were crafting armor might not be as important.
I have to say, though...as far as implementation goes, this invasion is far ahead of the last pain inducing click-fest. I hope to see more of them!

I think the invasion is great! I wish I had more time to hunt kitins this week. The only thing I think is a bit off, is that the kitin drop dappers, on occasion, when killed. I can sort of get my head around kitin from the deep having crystals and flowers stuck to them, but dappers? I think it would have been more immersive for the Kitin Watchers to hand out dapper/flower/catalyzer rewards (perhaps that would have caused bag availability difficulties though).

OOO I just had a great idea.
If the resources were at Nevrax disposal, maybe have a dedicated server for relentless random invasion events. All unannounced.
That way some of us that like invasions and the crazyness that comes with it can have our cake and eat it too
and the people that may not be so happy digging along or yubo slaughtering and suddenly eating dirt from a hoard of kitins won't have to
Would be great fun from noob levels on up would present some fun challenge.
also would preffer no OP on this type of server. The invasions would cause enough chaos IMO lol.

Now we know why the Kitin of the Depths have come up. It is just a shopping excursion.

Naaaw, those are the Dappers that Elias Tryton and his folks had with them, as they vanished down there. *eG*
Tehy´re found in the bellys of the Kitin.

Hehe.
Nice explanation. Maybe everything but dappers dissolved in the kitin bile.

OK I'm going to move this to the feedback forums, and would like to add that if we can keep this from descending into a flamefest then it will be a really useful resource for the devs, and I'll make sure they see it and are reminded to keep up to date with what is posted here as it's made for good reading so far.

I really enjoyed the invasion up to the Cho nerf. Up to that point I'd really enjoyed the look of Atys... it truly was being invaded and it lots of fun having to be extra careful to not aggro while roaming around. Plus the prospect of OP flowers, cats and new titles were huge insentives for me to go out and start defending our lands.
However, after the Cho nerf, the titles became impossibe to earn. There were barely any kitin around (an hour of hunting resulted in 14 Kitin pieces (henceforth known as kincher kookies
)). This meant that the I could only go as far as the 250 title (and that was having some other people throw theirs to me)... I was planning on spending my weekend earning the 600 one, but its laughable at how long it would actually take to gather than many kincher kookies.
While I recognize the need to temper Chos spawns for the lower players, there were many of us who were hoping to get the titles (and were too low in our combat skills to venture into the lvl 100 spawns). A nice middle ground would have been nice instead of the drastic nerf. Either limiting the spawns directly around the cities so that newbies could still level or reducing the number of kitin pieces needed for the titles would have saved this event in my mind... as it stands now, it started strong, but crashed and burned at the half-way point
