That's not lazy its one of the MOST common abbreviation used throughout the internet for the past six years from users to professionals. ^.~* it's true.

Where as "sp?" efficiently conveys the meaning "is that the correct spelling?", "not sure about the spelling". "I think that is what its spelled like, yes?"
