Decided to give ryzom a try

We'll been playing for a little while now and I must say. The world looks great I reached lvl 20 in all skills and so far going well. Although I left my first island feels kinda weird.

So many npcs walking around think it creates alot of lag. My connection is pretty good but still got lagg and not just a little but once I leave the city it goes back to normal.

It seems so quiet though I rarely see anybody and when I do its once in a blue moon. But for the most part the game is interesting lots to do and when I get bored of fighting I go harvest or craft.

I am not much of a big talker in game when I am playing I usually just play but I think today I may have heard 4 msgs on chat channels in about 4 hours play. Considering its a saturday. Don't know if thats good or bad.

But for the most part gameplay is fun kinda like playing (Marrowind III elder scrolls) With alot more skills to learn and things to do.

I have nothing really bad to say about the game its a GOOD GAME. If you knew me in L2 I use to talk so much crap about that ****ty game. Its still a sorry ass grindfest with no customization and no skill gay ass pvping. No damn stryder piss of ****.

ONLY REASON I PLAYED THAT DAMN GAME WAS FOR A DRAGON I SAW ON THE BOX OMG LVL 50 AND NO ****ING DRAGON IN GAME NO STRYDER ATLEAST. Now they got that peace of **** baby dragon should have been in at release so should have stryder like they advertised. But guess what STILL NO ****ING STRYDER! Not going back either to that crappy ass game.

Well I am installing it atm. I hope its everything it says it is. I also understand it takes time to get a mmo going when launched. But I also feel there should be enough good content to keep it going for those patches to come. I don't know what I am getting into but I already paid for it. The manuel doesn't seem to have much info either but hey I like figureing this out on my own too.

To bad they don't have pet classes but i'll see what I can be.

We have emotes, use them to pet the guides when you see them, they like that, throw them a snack from time to time, a matis finger will do...

You people are joking right? This pile of **** is a joke. I have never played any game where the tutorial sucked as bad! I have no idea what to do, my questions in game go unanswered, I get killed by stupid little animals all the time even though I am tougher than them. I cannot use the compass correctly it does not show me where my mission waypoints are! If you find this game impressive then I hope you never get a cardboard box for xmas, you'll be in heaven.

You sound like someone who did get a cardboard box for xmas and i wonder why.

Been playing the beta sins it got live this spring, and to see so litle of the content been inserted in the game before release and after worries me.
And the "sneak peak" of the patches just make me laugh.

Mounts for the GMs
Been their all along,they just tok them away so no question about them should come up.

Im just sorry i did not wait longer to buy the game.
I really thought content,quests,The Encyclopedia,Player Mounts was going to be where then i got in but no they keept quiet to the very end, and now i feel cheated.
just some things what pop out my mouth.....

You could say dont judge a book by it cover, which in this case is apt.

The patchs imo dont add much for me, gloves, mounts fo gms, etc dont mean much to a melee harvester/crafter. As niether does npc merchants or music, i listen to my own music, i dont need a player merchant, theres no-one to sell to and nothing i can make at lvl 50 that anyone would buy.

but i dont doubt there will be alot of other stuff added that they wont mention. i also have my misgivings about the game, and i am still on a knife edge deciding if i will subcribe... But i will make my desicion soon, you should try to look beyond your immiediate complaints and look to what the furture of this game could be, if you think you would be a part of it or not it as simple as that.
