I guess it settles the outpost battle question though!

It saddens me to say that many of our brethren will be occupied holding off Kamists aggression during your first expedition. We will do our best do rally together for your second mission and expect to vigorously fight off the kitin after we aid our allies in the defense of their OP.
Oooh, treaty violation.
EDIT: Can we please keep the town as a permanent location? ^_^ Then the homin grandchildren can be told stories of how it was won.

Tidings,
A bit of feedback since you asked.
Could item wear be turned off for invasions, at least ring invasions?
The design of the Ring has been like Las Vegas -- "What happens in the Ring, stays in the Ring." You can't get experience in the ring or bring back loot from the ring. But if the equipment you bring to the Ring wears out, it stays worn out.
This probably won't be noticeable in a normal hack and slash scenario, and certainly won't in the story telling scenarios I'm working on. The invasion was like a grind fest on steroids and at least for me but quite a bit of wear on my gear. My pants almost wore out, and that would have been a lot of embarrassment for an instanced invasion.

Seconded. It would also mean people's fancy gear could have more of an 'outing' in the ring events. It really should be consistent across the board what happens there.

Thirded. My OP amps got a run for their money in terms of its own HP.

And again, please remove item wear from Ring scenarios.
Tidings, I'm sure you have received tickets regarding the bomb heals not working every time, but I will reiterate - please fix the bomb heals, almost every time I tried to cast one it never completed and I was suspended in mid-air until I initiated another action.
I thought it was a very well run and simple event and I had a blast, thankyou
Entry was very easy and an invitation arrived promptly, then mayhem ensued and it was immediately obvious what I had to do since there were so many people in need of a few heals *chuckle*. I never picked up precisely what the objective was, if it was anything other than in your original post, but I was a late arrival anyway and the obvious thing was to help everyone kill every kitin we could see.

Not much to add, personally i dont really mind that items wear out in scenarios, but that is just me.
Only thing that might take some work is to make it feel less like a 'DM pushes 'spawn-kitin-button' again and again'. A bit more subtlety might be nice.
(But like said, it was just a test for the ring to work on invasions)

Although I did notice one other thing... while it is not possible to get XP or honor, etc -- our items still wear out from participating... I think they should only be able to wear out if we can progress from the participation.
Update: Sorry, I noticed others had already reported this after I posted it. Couldn't find a DELETE link.

During the invasion, I heard many people complaining that there wasn't a fence/guard line around the respawn point. Overall, I think these types of scenarios would work better if they were more like the temple-building scenarios, where there was a place to fall back to.
Besides, if it were real, I think most of us healers would have been healing from up in that aesthetic tower instead of on the ground

Actually I think having no safe point was quite fun
The kitins would overrun the spawn and we'd have to wait until they were out of range before spawning. I think that is quite realistic for an attempt to drive an invading set of kitins out from a camp.
Zok would much prefer the fixing of bomb heal himself.
