If you want or need to relog with another character, you won't need to relaunch your client anymore. All you will need to do is to select "Character selection" after clicking on "Quit" in the windows pad (or pressing alt-F4).

yeah they did.. just lose mats if you die or crash (which will be the least of your worries)..
saying thais it hasnt been patched yet.. tomorrow will tell

just copying your main interface/key files over your alt one does the same thing.
patch will make it easyer for user, but it still not as good as "ln -s interface_main.icfg interface_alt.icfg". (dont search it in windows.). it would make main and alt to share same interface file, change something in one, log to other and it's there.
syncing landmarks would be one reason for shared interface and macros for shared key file.
