I would rather have them actually finish something and put it in game ,then have them blow smoke up our skirts to tell us about another something that may or may not happen in the future.

But those representatives that post here are not heavily involved in the development of the Ryzom engine, are they? I mean, some are employed to focus specifically on communications with ... us. Or were?

I personally always enjoyed reading the letters written to the community. In fact, these letters kept me paying (without the "l" there...) for quite some time. I always had a good feeling to keep my subscription up back then, simply because I had the idea to come back soon and then have all the shiny new stuff. I did not come back for quite some time, but I am now...
Xavier? Yeah, I thought I have read that he was assigned to the Ring alpha internally? He might pop up soon again ...

i voted yes, i feel as a paying customer, we have the right to know what is being planned and we have the right to decide whether or not we feel we want to pay for something that may come in the future.
