I'll agree on that point. HP should have been given for Kitin slaying.ambika wrote:I'm with Kibs, Jayce and Nookie. I wish the guards of our diggers would have gotten Honor points for fighting back the Kitin as well as the opposing faction.
True, but we'd be flabberghasted if something so incongrous happened IRL though. Imagine waking up one morning to perfectly serious news reports that a giant cerulean koala bear was destroying chicago.katriell wrote:I remember both Episode 2 and Episode 1.
I loved both episodes because they instigated massive character, story, and political development. Life is the way it is on Atys, there are no "devs" to complain to...
and the incongrous part would be what? Mostly I pray for that every night when I go to bed.grimjim wrote:Imagine waking up one morning to perfectly serious news reports that a giant cerulean koala bear was destroying chicago.
Fine, then be flabberghasted in-character and cut the whinge about changed lore, PvP-centric developments, gimped neutrals, or whatever else your mind comes up with.grimjim wrote:True, but we'd be flabberghasted if something so incongrous happened IRL though. That's what EP2 was like.
Ah, I'd actually forgotten about the changed lore! That's a good point. Suitable for time travelling SF stories perhaps but didn't feel quite so appropriate here, felt like damage control :/katriell wrote:Fine, then be flabberghasted in-character and cut the whinge about changed lore, PvP-centric developments, gimped neutrals, or whatever else your mind comes up with.
