its a special lil secret.. and only priviledged people can find that information out
Nah, Ive only ever used 2 names in SoR, first ever char was a Fyros called Evo, then i deleted him and went onto another Fyros..
I believe in the past i may have been within a guild that once had a bad name for being the first to take down all 4 main bosses, which some guilds couldnt really handle.. i dont believe i annoyed any members of the guild but would like to keep my old identity a lil secret.. ive not had my char renamed as of yet, but when i have the oppertunity to it shall more then like be my WoW chars former name which is Enson..
I know of the fame system that was introduced before i left, if i remember right im a fully pledged kami, so can always buy me kami tickets, i still need to work on fame for the PR tickets as i believe thats 60 fame..
Im a Fyros based character, can access most area's with and around fyros/matis/zorai but not as many in tryker, due to the small people keep getting under my feet making me fall over all the time :S
Well then perhaps editing some older posts would jelp keep the identity secret, but it is public knowledge that one of your toons was Blaze

well what can i say, theres always one that has nothing better to do other then go over old threads huh.. well..
either way no longer will my char be enson, neither will my char be back..
older posts should be deleted, or made unavalible since they are so old..
thanks for for being a forum nubbin, maybe one day your find something better to do..

well it's 2 clicks to look over the last 8 posts you had made at the time, i'm sure anyone who bothered to read this thread did the same thing as naratuul.
renaming will help a little, but anyone who has your old char in their friends list will get it renamed when you change name so your secret identity is never going to be secret. I think the bigger issue is why you want to be able to post things and no one know who your are, seems a bit sad.

Why are you so ashamed of your name? Makes me wonder...

Old posts should not be deleted for as long as possible. One should not fear one's past, but rather their future. If the knowledge that others will be able to read your threads in the future should be on one's mind when one posts. It sometimes helps prevent people from posting things better left unsaid.
I have no idea what issues you are running from, but I certainly hope whatever issues you are so ashamed of stay in the past. As an MMO veteran, it always makes me a little sad when someone feels the need to start or fuel negative drama. It disheartens newer players, and turns a relaxing escape from the day to day BS of the world into more day to day BS.
Whether the game is full of "randoms" or veteran long-term players shouldn't matter as to how we behave ourselves. I plan on being here a while, and I would rather not see the drama that plagues other games. BS drama is one of the bigger reasons I left EQ2.

see ashamed is the wrong word, im not ashamed of my char name, in the slightest, just cant be doing with the people who still have issues that we were the first guild to take down all 4 main boses, the fact we were the biggest and most hard core guild on the shard.. some people just cant handle the fact that we owned them all.. hence the reason i was thinking about the whole name change.. i wasnt bothered if people had me in there friends list.. after all they are friends ^^ ..
like i said priviledged people would have know..

Just a hunch, but I'd wager people are over it ...

I think you'll find that most people don't care.
