You really need to explore more i think, roaming is only the mid range yubo/mek/rendor there are 3 higher that will give you more xp.

Yeah, sounds like he needs to move down south near the corner (where border blights are) north of Fleeting Garden. Bigger gingo and ragus, kipee and herbies. Not a safe place for the unwary, but good hunting for that level.

Your not going to be very good at soloing if your not getting your stats up, skills come right behind attributes.

But trying to be a meleer in Light/Medium armour, dual wielding, etc., just don't work out. You gimp yourself pretty bad. It seems like you simply have more options (Magic, Melee, Ranged, etc.), but for each one there's specific gear you have to use.

It sucks. I originally wanted an agile, dual wielding fighter. But now it seems I'm stuck with the 2hander and heavy armour.
That is really not true. My character, Sandaara, is a dual wielder. I do use heavy armor, I will admit... it really helps a great deal when soloing. But when grouped I use medium armor.

You have to realize that if you are doing hardcore soloing, you have more limitations put on you than if you are grouped. Try getting "defensive magic" XP solo -- VERY hard, because the best way to get that is to heal others, and you can't heal others while soloing. Likewise, digging solo, requires you to stop and careplan. It can be done, but you're going to get a little less resources per pull than you would if someone is careplanning 100% for you.

There is a difference between "can't solo at all" and "can't solo as easily as if I were grouped." You CAN solo in the game, and it is perfectly viable and doable, but your flexibility is more limited because you are just ONE character, and so you have to have defense, offense, etc, all in one, rather than just doing one thing well as you could grouped.
