well, the other day when I was leveling my 2H a bit. I went from 215 to 219 in about 5 or 6 hours, and I started out with a 2 and a half stacks of cats. Of course, my healer was like level 225-so that deduced xp just a bit when he leveled.

Pretty much depends on how much you care about your levels and how much you work on them.
similar rate here, 11 months in game, highest lvl 225 jungle forage, (hey i got nother 6 months for the next 5 lvl then
), heal, 2hd melee and first craft tree also above 200, PR close to it... many craft trees in the 100-150 area, good enough to be of some use in boss hunts and treks, to do some solo trekking, help guildies with equipment, and generally have a good time

Here since release and highest is 228 Offensive Magic.
It completely depends on your style of play.
And Noone did "max out" everything until now.
It´s simply not the point of the game.
But if you want to grind, then who am I to stop you. *shrug*
Enjoy

id say most people spend just under 200 hours for each master, but then add all the socialising, catering for guildies, boss hunts, exploration , mucking about etc, Believe you me you can get lost in ryzom enough not to care about levels and also on the other hand if you apply yourself totally you can master some of them pretty quick. its a game, its all about how you play it
Edit, im probably referring to forage more so as that my only master and correct my guesstimate if you wish as it a semi drunk tipsy one

uhhm lemme see
Ele/heal is real fast to lvl
then melee
ranged is kind of dependant on diggin so takes longer
Dig takes forever and I have to keep taking breaks from It to avoid burnout..
Affys can be lvl'd quickly if you have the right team.. but it has to be *just right* so as this happens rarely they take a long while too..
I am not a powergrinder but i do intersperse bouts of play will heavy grinding occasionally.. Also I am a Guild leader which takes up alot of time too ..
To put this in perspective.. after about 10 months on this character..
250 elemantal
230 2H melee
210 heal
167 Defensive affliction
153 Offensive affliction
180 Prime roots dig
155 Jungle dig
and a bunch of other stuff
Lvling comes in bursts i find if you get the right team setup it can fly by.. if not you could be in for the long haul...

I agree ^^
And yea, leading a guild makes you grind a lot less (as well as RL interferences, bleh). Since I'm leader (since roughly 10 months), I haven't been able to grind as much as before (good thing there are now xp crysts to compensate, err wait no. Fetching them takes lots of time too, so in fact it doesn't really compensate).
After 17 months... 3 skills between 200-210, 1 at 170, 5 crafts between 150-160. And now grinding other lower skills because I need them to feel like a decent homin ^^
(...And after all this, I'll start to think about marriage
After hunting creatures, hunting male homins!)
