I keep looking at the branches across the sky, wishing I could log on to Damascusss and fly up to do some exploring...
Which promptly makes me a sad panda....

Hehe, I know what you mean. Those branches would be a dragons playground.
I keep hitting the fly button to go up and explore. Old habits die hard I suppose.
Hello mikadou, a pleasure to hear of you. I'm not as of yet an ex Istarian. I love my dragon and my lair far to much to really just up and leave that game without a lot of reason. I'm trying out this game because to be completly honest the new company that owns Horizons scares me. Although at this rate I'm considering keeping up both subcriptions. This game is breathtakingly beautiful. Even if I can't figure it out.
*Nay thinks Ryzom = a little more complicated then Horizons* Took me a bit just to figure out what the different chat colours where and how to use em. Now if I could only figure out anything else. I can kill Yubos though....barely. It's more a of a 50/50 things with them killing me.

Hiya Nayuaka, I've been playing the trial for 3 weeks and haven't accomplished all that I want to before I consider trying paid subscription. I'm a former HZ player as well. The most noticeable difference between the two games is that Ryzom performs a heck of a lot better on my PC than HZ does! I quit HZ at the same time I started SoR, before I knew HZ was changing ownership, so that was not a factor in my leaving HZ. See ya around the starter island!

Actually save being around towns Horizons runs better then this game for me. Although Horizons, as much as I love it, does not match up to this game visually either. Hehe if Horizons was that busy looking graphics wise with it's currant engine/client I think running it would blow up my computer.

Took me a week to get the hang of stanzas and such! But once you -do- get past the learning curve, you really do appreciate and enjoy the complexity.
