18:00 BST is the start of the parade/trek from Yrkanis to Nexus. It will take us some time to get to the Festival grounds in Nexus. We expect that the Festival itself will last awhile, probably hours. The young homin race across Nexus will be the first event. The naked knife-fighting competition will be next, then the hunt-the-marauder game, lastly the teams of nine combatants will compete. Guilds are contributing some nice prizes such as supreme gear, stacks of crystals, outpost materials, dappers and more.

If you wish to pre-register your team of nine, please contact Riveit or Kali. We will be pairing them off to make a ladder.

We hope to see you there! :)

I wanted to give a shout out to Riveit for organising this years Festival of Light. It was by far the largest (100 people from Yrkanis, thru Ichor and into Nexus) player run event (no CSR assistance) I have yet to see on Atys. The King (Riveit) and Queen (Aajeola) honored their festival roles by keeping the events rolling.

Other than a few organising issues, all events went as planned. It was numbing how many gifts and prizes were given away and the quality of the items. I know the Melinoe guild hall is emptier than it has been in a long while as we cleared out many Q250 cats, Dex Flowers and Rubbarn gum... I appreciate how well everyone acted as well, being an intolerant old sod I was impressed by all attending. It was a good day in Atys for me and I don't have enough of them these days... Thanks you !

Thank you for the kudos. :)

I would like to thank everyone that attended and enjoyed the Festival! Thanks to all who contributed prizes and helped run it! Kali, in particular, did alot of the work. It was great fun holding it. Next time we will work out some organizational kinks to make it run more smoothly.

It was simply glorious to see a hundred homins blasting their way through the Abyss of Ichor with a train of packers in tow. :) It was fabulous to see so many homins chasing after the marauders (played by Pero, Dollydagger and Sarakan) through the Elusive Forest. :D

The contests were very fun and a great show. Congratulations to the following winners! :D

Young homin race: Sonej (sorry I forgot who was 2nd and 3rd)

Naked Knife-fighting: Sehraci (1st place), Doubletap (2nd place)

Marauder Hunt: Aphodine (1st place), Toramo and Anders (2nd and 3rd)

Team Combat Championship:
Sehraci's team (1st place)
Scorpious' team (2nd place)
Ciridemarr's team (3rd place)
