This is on topic. The person wants to know who is who and what you claim to be here and on the sticky post differ. What's the big deal to change it?

I am no fan of Kye by any means :P Why don't you stick to worrying about yourself and your guild (the paint hasn't even dried on your sig and your pestering an old timer about how he runs his stuff) and stop pestering folks in the forums.

The forums give a glimpse into overall guild ideals... unless you take time to spend with a guild IG, what is in the forums is but a snapshot. Nobody owes anybody an explanation to a public post, if THAT USER (not you) wanted an answer I would expect them to send a PM to Kye and ask themself. By posting anything in the forums, you risk trolls like yourelf chiming in to contradict, misinterpret and generally muddle the whole thing.

my thoughts exactly DT. Also on the RP thing.... I would never say infinity was a high RP guild (no "*hands praha a pick* shall we run off to the depths of atys for a bit of digging?") but we did RP our Kami love/kara hate (in both around and region chat). Did we do it all the time? no, of course not... any guild that does it all the time or even most of the time is what i would consider high RP (even a guild that RPs guild chat is high IMO).
If a guild, such as KoO, supports the kami in all they do and proclaim their distastefor the karavan, etc, how is that not RPing? Semi-RP fits them perfect

Yeah, back in the days of C.P. and Infinity before the merge/EP2 there were alot more RPers... Back then I would say we did alot of RP, not an event went on in Atys where good and evil (regardless of which side you were on) went head to head... We would fight off the Kitin invaders, then challenge each other over who was the best representative. There was no BS, no worry about DP.... it was good fun and we kept a balance. I miss those days bigtime !

When a Kamist came into Majestic Garden and talked ill of the goddess, there was a fight and IC region chatter. I could not help myself from showing up at the Arena, only to find that the spokesman was one of many waiting for me there... Ugh, only Jena's light got me thru those trying times, and having good allies and enemies :P When we merged and RP meant you could be neutral and take a side in the gameplay... it soured RP and I pretty much stopped organizing all the things we did back in the day. Even when there was no faction meaning IG, the game had more faction roles than it does now since they gave up on the games original goal and gave non-believers similar bonuses to those that had to make a choice to be involved. We will never recover from this error in development.

I truly apologize for being off topic in this guys thread, but there is so much misrepresentation in these forums that some times I cannot ignore the trolls. I do truly hope the OP finds a guild that suits his gameplay type. It's crucial to a good gaming experience.

ROFL! DT I sometimes wonder wether you honestly believe everything you say or if you are RPing still.

Sorry for Offtopic :P

I'd class myself as semi RP. most of my actions are for the good of the guild and the kami. I fight the karavan where I find them (but OOC I dont dislike many of them).

Maybe this doesnt fit into other peoples idea of Roleplay but it sure does mine.

*gives Jackoba a hug*

Wilst thou spend some of thine invaluable time in a quiet conversation with me, dearest adversary? Or is it thine desire to nuke the hell outta me at the next op fight? :P

LOL

And yes I'd also qualify as semi rp ;) Even though i prepare and host rp events :)

I love how you all espouse to be such a great community and then say things to alienate newcomers. Stop being so elitest.

Just because I'm saying things you don't agree with doesn't mean I'm a troll. The person who posted this has no idea whether what you claim is accurate and what, I have no right to question these things because I am new?

This discussion is not about what RP is. It's about making the guild list accurate.

DT, stop with the personal attacks. And no I won't stoop to your level and respond with an attack on your character.

Have a nice day.

All i was trying to explain is that RP is very much dependent on what a specific person feels, any extreme kami or karavan guild has got to be classed as RP in some way but i dont feel kings of oblivion is heavy RP, im sticking with what i said, we are partially role play but i wudnt consider us semi-RP but thats my view.
Personal attacks wernt maybe nessesery but you where persistant on trying to get your point across. Lets leave it at that, no hard feelings on my part and im more than happy to discuss my guilds RP status ingame.
