Just a note - the ping values shown on the ingame Network status window are not in ms... (or at least, not at all accurate when compared to outgame ping replies)

Well, I think that an average lag time below 300 ms should be ok ... but when this problem happens to me the ping reach 900-1000 ms, the "please wait" icon appears on my screen and everything stay freezed for a few seconds ...

Really? Maybe they aren't accurate but usually Network Latency is measured in milliseconds, isn't it?

Anyway, the "please wait" icon isn't a good sign :(

Yep, latency is normally measured in ms but the ping values on that window don't show you your ping in ms... the values seem to end up being approximately twice the value of a ping in ms done using another program *shrug*

I see ... so my ping times should be below 150 ms. Nice.
