Sword max speed is 30, mace/axe 27 (10% slower). However, when a max speed axe boosts, it gets 30 speed, when a max speed sword boosts, 33. This axe is indeed much better than a regular sword, but if this recipe were used for a sword and it receives the boost, it would be balanced too. (with this recipe, max dmg, 32 speed, +24 parry.)

But what I'm curious about is: with 96/100 precrafts on PM we get 9 PM...max caped PM on axes is +10..so how was it possible to boost it to +14??

Cuz the Crafting Gods took pity after trashing 8 yelkoo mushrooms in fails and boosted my boost? Don't we all wish heh.

The real reason is precraft was 100 parry. Damage was 98 [can do 99 damage and retain 100 parry but drops adv dodge mod to 79 while 98 damage is 81 adv dodge mod so went with 98 damage to reduce adv dodge mod from 4 to 3 on this one.]

I expected 100 would boost to 12 - thinking 20% of 100. But what must happen is it boosts precraft to 120 which is 4 x 5s in terms of post craft result - like 80 precraft would be 6 parry, 85 = 7, 90 = 8, 95 = 9 and 100 = 10 - so went up 4 more times, ie from 10 to 14, from the boosted precraft of 120.
