While this is basically true, it is not correct.
While extracting a source the rate/speed in which your numbers increase is faster during the first 50% towards your stanza's maximum level. So, using a Q30 stanza on a Q15 source will reach level faster (as well as use more focus) than a Q20 (Q15) stanza will. Your numbers turn red and slow down 50% thru your extraction... using a higher level stanza will set that slowdown point higher.
This will not be readily apparent at these lower levels, but folks doing it at higher levels see a significant difference when harvesting.

Q10 is by the ranger camp.
Q10-15 is in the Hunting Grounds.
Q20 is in the Ruins of Silan area.
Q30 is in the Kitin Jungle.
You will usually find Basics in the Ruins/Hunting ground (though not always) and find some basics but also a lot of Fine stuff in the Kitin Jungle.

Actually in the Jungle its mostly q45 i was finding, and theres plenty of q30 along the west side of the goo area, if you don't mind the occasional frippos :>

Whoops... thanks for the correction.
My skills still don't go over 30 so I can't get anything higher than that.

Yup, tis true : Always dig at the highest quality you can, regardless of the source quality. (try digging a ql 50 source witha ql 50 stanza, then dig another source with your highest ql stanza and see how many more mats you get)
