lol, I must soo suck. My main doesnt even have a single skill anywhere near 50 yet, that I remember anyway.

What, exactly, do these crystals do?

Sounds like something some folk would crush up, then snort up through a rolled up mat, all so they could talk too much for 6 hours or so.

The crystals double the XP you gain.

Best think would be make the crystals sellable on the NPCs(at a low price) for others that need them to buy.

If you sell them, people start complaining :(

Note that Neva said "at a low price."

"at a low price" is still not free, which is what your offer was in that thread ;)

btw, don't worry, i will also attack your outpost with the cheap excuse of "you sell crystals", if you sell them ;)

If crystals became available in such a way, I'd prefer they only be sold by NPCs and not resellable by/to players, like tools.

And if I ever sell crystals, you may gank me in whatever way gives DP, until I have max. I derive pure joy from giving things away, and Jelathnia does as well.

Haha no look at it this way; you are taking the time to enjoy the game at it's fullest :)

I've played Ryzom for over a year and still don't have any 250 skills :) I do have 2 just over 200 tho.. but none maxed yet :)

to the OP: Sorry for the off topic commment :)

Personally, I use a lot of the Q50 crystals. If you notice my stats, I have only one (ok 2, but I'm only going to use one of them that much) skill that is above level 50. Therefore I like the level 50 ones, especially when harvesting or crafting, because I can't pick up enough materials to spend 5 hours of the day just crafting my level up to 50 so I don't need those crystals for that skill level anymore. I find it funny that people say level 50 crystals have no use; while a lot of people play in the Ruins of Silan, true, there are quite a few who are on the mainland and could probably use those crystals, myself included. No, I don't even ask for them, people literally just come up to me sometimes and say "here, take these" and then go about like they're doing something that overall doesn't count much, but every bit helps. Plus I'm almost out of Q50 crystals so I think I'm about to speed up my hunts and stuff for EXP.

I wouldn't mind seeing more construction options for the OPs. Even folks with higher q outposts must have times when they aren't moving cristals very fast.

I would sacrifice speed of production to make more q100 and q150 cristals from our q50 outpost. We would still have plenty of q50s to pass out, and our guild hall wouldn't be on the verge of exploding every week from q50 strength flowers that I can't give away!
katriell wrote:More flowers is definitely not needed. Mats are alright - I mean, if there get to be too many, you could craft them up and *gasp* sell them on merchants for cheap.

However, maybe there could be another drill to buy - that doesn't produce flowers, fewer q50 crystals, and maybe fewer mats, but in exchange produces more q100 and q150 crystals.

Maybe the q50 ouposts just need to be swapped around more.
I know that any powerful guild who attacks a q50 outpost will be despised as picking on children, but if some new players form a guild they should be able to experience an outpost battle.. and not against the full mustered might and fury of the Karavan Alliance, or whatever Kami organisation might exist :p

altho, anyone know what happens if a guild without a guild hall gets an outpost ? :)
