good to know your still about and havnt given up on ryzom, sadened to hear why i havnt seen you around tho :/ hope to see you soon and yes sometimes it takes a while for character restoration, i know of one case which took 3 days and another that took 6 weeks, all depends on how much the ryzom team have on.

Snake went missing in the early days (pre patch 1 days I think it was) so I played with a new toon on and off for about 3mths as I was quite busy irl so it didnt seem to matter that much. Something happened (cant remember the details) but I had to re install the game and Snake was alive again !

Might be worth trying, ya never know

So the characters you deleted have been restored - not quite the timescale you claimed it would be, but on that note I'm gonna close this thread.
