Wow wasnt groundbreaking, it only took good stuff from what already existed and put it in a neat easy to use package so kids can jump in without having to have a big brain.. dumbed down generic mmorpg :]

Also an ex-wower here, killed everything up to and including nefarion and the thought of grinding all that resistance gear again when AQ came out made me die a bit inside so I thought it would be better to just call it a day.
Played City of Villians for a couple of months (great game if no one has tryed it) but not so different from City of Hero's to hold my attention for that long.
Decided to give this a try and the general consensus seemed to be it was extremely underated. Hope to see you all ingame
patching seems to be taking an awful long time though

Welcome to Atys! *huggles*
Plush what client did you download? Is it one of the 2006 ones or one of the 2005 ones (or even a 2004 cd)? There are several out there?

Web : Client download capacity upgraded by Xavier Antoviaque
Since the release of the Ruins of Silan and the new Free Trial offer, the client installer is being downloaded several thousand times every day, filling up the bandwidth we dedicated for the client download. We have thus added extra mirror servers and upgraded the total bandwidth from 200 Mbps to 600 Mbps - you should now be able to download the game at full speed again.
CU & Welcome
