Because if they gave free months for lag and fixes all the time they would never make any money. Part of MMO life is dealing with things like this. Do you demand the cable company give you a discount when your cable goes out for a few hours? What about your DSL or Internet connection? Do you demand they give you a free month when you are getting the full 100% speed that you should?

I hate to say it, Aelvana, but most of your posts aren't very constructive either. Perhaps you should take a break from reading the boards for a while. Just a suggestion, not a personal attack.

OK, they give everyone a free month.

But next month, I notice my green armor isn't quite the shade of green I expected and I worked so hard for that armor. I want another free month.

I ruber-banded 6 times today - that will cost them six free weeks.

Somehow I missed 7 swings in a row - must be a bug - free month and my XP restored.

Oops, a rollback. For the next month I not only play free, I'm a dev.

After playing this game for a year, I'm not satisfied. I need stock options.

Are you that hard up for the cash where 13$ or so is an issue for you? Even if you work at a mcjob making minimum wage you can cover it in about 2 hours of work...
