I would absolutely get the heal others spell. Your future teammates will be very glad you have it. You can rezz someone with just that starter heal other spell, and it can prevent your team from going down.

That one (Heal) is a must have. Even a low level healer is useful to a team, and more importantly Heal let you rez dead players.

Didn't know that ok i'm going to get it ^^. I also got um the stuff for fighting that gives me more hp. What else do I need?

Oh, and a team mate so you can take turns whacking yubos and healing each other.
General rule I play by: If an upgrade to one of the eight stats is available, buy it! If an upgrade to a basic skill (like Acid 2, Life Heal, Stamina gift, Increased Damage, etc.) is available Buy it!
That said, don't spend magic skill points on HP upgrades, use your melee points for that and for stamina. Save your magic points for Sap upgrades, and spell upgrades. Similarly, don't spend crafting points (at least at this level) on Focus Upgrades. use Harvesting points for that. Save your crafting points for crafting plans and crafting upgrades.
