Well there were Open weekends during FBT.

I hardly remember anything from my beta days, except I was in TTF (Tryker Task Force - or close to that) with a bunch of other EU people. I have no recall if this was open or closed, but since I joined so shortly before release I voted Open. Pity I don't have my beta account anymore though, I'd love to get my Elder of Atys title

I joined no more than a month before release, too. I believe you had to be in OB1 or before for the title, however.

Focus Beta, that was the one... remember when we all made Trykers, were ported to Pyr and sent out to test how OO was to hunt in? Man, those were the days...

both open betas, then a delay of a couple of months until I could get a copy of the game shipped from America to Australia
