Suggestion - Notice Boards

We definitely need *something* in-game. There's lots of people who don't read the forums at all, or maybe sporadically. I know because FAR too many people don't know about my medium armor shop.

If not some notices, can I maybe rent a billboard in Void?

This seems like such a simple, yet really appealing, idea. I can say personally I'd probably get obsessed and check these things hourly ...just afraid to think how long it would take to implement, as seems to have been mentioned already.

I would love an in-game message board, we used to have them in the NWN server I played. But even in NWN, with rather few players, these boards get cluttered quickly.
Should messages be removed after one or two days, or any other idea?

The board should be (and the in-game guild forums) readable offline

New suggestion for Nev: Change the server reboot message to "... please find a safe place to log out and then go visit the forums at (url) for half an hour."

As regards the notice board, I think it's a great idea and has been suggested a couple of times at least. Nevrax do have many other little things to work on though, many of which don't also entail working out how to deal with potential abuse.

don't wait too long for an ingame board. such a thing was already up and running, but forced to take down, since it wasn't made by nevrax.

Didn't Sehracii mention being a MA crafter? Of course, I'm working on MA too, but I don't really expect anybody to look for me just yet ... besides, you said "good", and I don't have much in the way of high-end mats.
