It's designed for inter-racial relations at high levels (150+) not low levels.morgan73 wrote:Heh, going down there *does* result in dying. Harder will cause me to just plain give up from the frustration issue, and I was given the impression even in beta that *inter-racial* relations was HIGHLY important, yet.. only a handful, if that, have made it anywhere. And I honestly sympathize with the Trykers, I've been to the beaches. *shudder*

Care to explain why the GM's are hosting events only in Matis lands *already* then?

I'm guessing your a Zorai? If so have you checked out the entire Zorai map? A few things that might keep you entertained exploration wise.morgan73 wrote:Heh, going down there *does* result in dying. 1) Go around the entire map and study the animals. Figure out what they do, which ones are aggro, and which ones are just there to eat the grass.
2) Check out the landmarks and mark down anything you notice about them. One example would be the graves high upon the cliffs that allow you to overlook a large area of the Zorai lands.
3) Find out what tribes are friendly and where their outposts are.
You learn all that stuff and you will be miles ahead of most in this game.

Done it. Please don't presume I do not know how to explore.

For those who had the will and ability to get there could participate.morgan73 wrote:Care to explain why the GM's are hosting events only in Matis lands *already* then?
And 1 event doesn't count as 'hosting events only in matis lands' every civ has had an event (or for the trykers will have an event baring rescheduling again) in their own lands.
The GM's didn't offer ports to this event because, chances are, if you couldn't make it there, you'd get a beating the likes of which Jena hasn't seen. That is, unless you're tryker, then you get to be the outcast civ and not get to see anyone else.

Actually, the FIRST event was in the Fyros lands.... The event in the Matis lands is the second GM event since launch.... sooooooo... it hasn't been "only in Matis lands *already*" ... I believe that this early in the game they're going to make their rounds on all of the races...morgan73 wrote:Care to explain why the GM's are hosting events only in Matis lands *already* then?
