I came across the game strangely...

'It all began when i joined uni, some damn guy in My computing tutorial was loud enough to take over the damn room, got in a bit of banter, just so happened he was a kick ass homin in the game Ryzom, i mocked him about playing the game so much, yet the time ticked on...and i eventually saw the game in GAME for £2.98, gave him a ring and was like whats that game called again...ended up buying it and like 2 and half weeks later here i am still playing...im addicted to Cats, im addicted to PvP, and now addicted to the Karavan'

Hehe, I got into Ryzom through a friend when it was in open beta 1. She tried to convince me for ages to play, but I had never gone in for a MMO before, so I was a little hesitant. Then she told me it was free (since it was in beta) and, well, I was a student so.. here I am =p

Sounds like a cool story! So why have you still not decided the right side?

Ballistic Mystix betaed Ryzom in search of a new home after the evil empire(read EA) decided to destroy EnB our home. As a guild we moved here as soon as it went live. We did marathon almost 24/7 the last week of EnB. We used vacation so work didn't interfere with squeezing evry last bit of fun from EnB. We are always looking for EnBers to help. I got into Ryzom during beta through this same friend whom I had met in another game called Uru. A large portion of the Out of Cavern beta players came to Ryzom together when Uru was lost to us.

For advertisement Nevrax needs Money, for Money it needs more Players, as long as this is the case.

Found them in my favorite Onlinecomic and thought: Whoo, funny and sounds cool. Looked up the Website and found it realy cool. Went shopping and saw the last Box, bought it and here I am. Since just after release and still happy

I also came from Earth and Beyond, and this by far rates higher then that game, The content and the many areas you can lvl up your skills is the great thing in this game.

I was waiting for another game to be released, and a friend told me about Ryzom when it was in early open beta. I decided to use it as a stop-gap MMO before my new one came out, however, I fell in love with Ryzom and have now been here 2 years with no intention of leaving

I still want my Bile missle launcher from EnB for ranged .Just watch me clear the Tunnel of Woe solo.
