If everyone can dig them, then everyone will. So the guilds with OP's and their friends will have their free ones plus dig as many as the non PvPers are digging and still come out with more.

People with OP's shouldn't be able to dig it at all but 1 OP can't suply alot of guilds

Crazy idea no 2:

Guilds could be tagged "PvP" or "not PvP"

EVERY non-PvP guildmember receives automatically a set number of crystals per day (small amount).

If a PvP guild has an OP, their guild members recieve twice as many crystals. If they dont have an OP, they get none.

_thats_ fair.

I just had to ask myself a question... if people enjoy PvP, why are they being rewarded for doing what they enjoy? All this content just for them _and_ bonuses in game?

Where are the _non_ PvP bonuses? Imagine a permenant "Pacifist" buff, for people that haven't involved themselves in PvP in 1 full calendar month (people change, give em a chance to try the other side of it.)

Just... gah, Nevrax please do _something_. At the moment, Non-PvP lovers are second class citizens when it comes to both content and in-game rewards.

Ask yourselves this, 6 months ago when there where no crystals did anyone have any issues with the lvling system- No, the lvling system was one of the stronger points of the game, personally always thought crystals as an OPs reward was a terrible idea, pete has always explained how i felt with crystals so well and will do my best to explain. Crystals as a one off reward for something you have WORKED for is great, but OPs you dont work for, well no where near enough for the amount of bonus rewarded, the "old lands" event was great and its crystal rewards was a good idea.

Agree that Neutrals should have a PvP option , they arent all peace-loving , some just dont like either Faction and some havent got enough Fame to go for Cult Citizen yet , id like to see a choice given when you activate your Neutral-PvP tag as I posted in the "Big-ish issue " thread -
Cult Neutrals/Trytonists/Ranger wannabes should be able to engage either of the Cults should they choose by having their own PvP tag , maybe they could declare an alliegence each time they activated it ? Anti-Kami/Anti-Karavan/Anti-Cult(both) ?

I dont like/wont use Exp Crystals unless they are given or bought by points gained in another Event like the Old-lands/Temple building one (maybe R2 scenarios as well) , they were largely just a compensation for "lvling time lost" whilst involved in the Event and so didnt unbalance the game

The Flowers and Mats are good and I think they should alter the balance in favour of more of those , both of those help you to lvl by taking away downtime regenerating or making kills/Mat extraction quicker , they make you more active in the game. Exp Crystals on the other hand effectively reduce the amount of lvls in the game =less involvement in the game

EDIT - lol Kye you knew I was looking eh ?

I was kind of hoping for different kinds of OP's to be availible, research, diplomatic, production. Each with a different way of taking controll and holding on to it.

In essence I thought you lease the OP from your governament? If it is a outpost for the defence of the realm the best group of fighters can take controll untill they are challenged and succesfully defend or have to yield to betters.

Diplomatic should go to the group who has the best relations with the group(s) the outpost has to effect.

Research or workshop should have some sort of craft/forage requirement etc.

All these ideas where from players when there was first talk of outpost and guild property. All we see now is the 1st one, the bash skulls in for more xp.

I'm surprised there is no more voice for the other options, they seem to add some vital part of the saga (well to me) and have not recently came up. Just these, 'what if we did bla bla to change this' to make it fun for everybody suggestions

The devs can rehash the PVP mechanics every month and there will be people who don't like it. We don't need a rethink of the PVP system, the OP system or any other system. just more options to explore, grow and have fun doing what all like best. Be that killing, diplomacy, research and production or just goofing off at the stables for a evening :p

Another point has struck me, the outpost a guild holds can be in a land the guild does not have citizenship with, wouldn't this be a problem for the owning country ? It would be like having a bunch of chinese operating the defence of spain because they had a good offer, better then the spaniards themselves and better then others who where bidding :p

I think that is a bit thought to far ahead but it would certainly raise some intresting questions to the devs about say a kami guild with fyros citizenship controlling a outpost in the lakelands or something. The leaders of our 4 great nations have said that the outposts are not under their controll and will not interfear. But if there is a matis karavan guild owning an outpost in the backyard of the summur palace of emperor dexton I don't think he would throw a big BBQ for his new guests, how much he loves yrkanis ;)

This is all verry offtopic of course, excuse me, babble on :)

that is ofcourse up to the players, nothing is stoping the trykers from shoving out any non-tryker guilds, or the fyros from shoving out the matis.

(flame inc :)
other than too many people who try to play the lore there own way and dont want inter faction or religon fighting
