O-O erm yea Oba, he- he better watch out for me too! He threatened guide Pheadrea apparently, I of course was erm, yea I was in the toilet at the tower at the time in Matis Island hehe, *nervous laugh and looks over his shoulder*

Had I had been there I would have run him through, with my pike of pain! *looks suddenly at a shadow, and screams 'Whats that!?' - runs off into the bushes to hide*

We were on the Matis refugee island yesterday with our new characters when a couple of the Guides began a dialogue about The Tryker Ambassador having been kidnapped by Shaman Oba. We were told that her memory had been altered and she'd been hidden somewhere in Atys (eeeek!). I've got a feeling we are all going to be trying to track her down either at the weekend or next week. (Please GM's give us plenty of warning about when this is gonna kick off so I can make sure our Guild is there too :) ).

By a strange coincidence we were in Pyr a couple of days before with our old characters and we actually SAW Oba! He literally appeared in front of us, yelled abuse, scared us all witless then vanished. We didn't know whether to laugh or cry! In all seriousness it was brilliant role-play fun. (Crying myself to sleep that night wasn't fantasy tho ;) )

Honestly guys, this is great stuff. We're really loving it - keep up the good work. It is this kind of fun which makes me love Ryzom :)

Love from Euginie

Homins, I come here to warn you all. News has reached me of Oba, news that we would be foolish to ignore. Piecing together his movements across Matis and Tryker lands I fear he plans to reach Fyros this very evening. I advise vigilance. May Jena be with you all.

HOMINS, HEED MY WORDS!

Well, we can try if we can drag ourselves from our harvest...we'll do what we can to help find this shaman of yours.

Oba and his helper, Wormbreath, have just visited Fairhaven. They claim to be torturing the Tryker Ambassador, but said they would give a clue to the ambassadors whereabouts in 2 days time.

I will type up the full course of events tomorrow, or sooner if I have time. Be on your guard, homins.

(Either the comedy spelling is clues, or Oba's schooling left a little to be desired!)

For those who have not seen them, Wormbreath is a fat, bald Fyros, while Oba is a Zorai.

Wormbreath: My master Shaman Oba in his supremely, infinately, beautiful wickedness has struck again!
Oba: WORM, HAVE YOU DROPPED ONE, I SMELL FISH.
Wormbreath: Mwahahahahaaah dropped two master.
Oba: TRYKER WORRIORS, IF THERE ARE ANY. COME TO FAIRHAVEN TO HEAR ME. AND THEN FEAR ME.
Wormbreath: I come to sow confusion and uncertainlty here in fAIRHAVEN, where you people now look twice at every shadow. PUNY HOMINS, HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH.
Oba: WORM PULL YOUR TROUSERS UP, YOU LOOK SLOPY. EVIL, BUT SLOPY.
Wormbreath: ARRRRRRR, BAD BUTT, SORRY MASTER.
Oba: PUNY TRYKERS, RUNNING SCARED.
Wormbreath: Nar-har-har puny homins of Atys, my master Shaman Oba will make Yubo food of your puny little bodies. HEAR THE WORDS OF MASTER OBA! YOU ARE NOT FIT TO CLEAN HIS BOOTS.
[He approaches me]
Oba: WORM, THIS ONE IS SO UGLY. HE GIVES YOU A RUN FOR YOUR DAPPERS.
Wormbreath: HAR-HAR-HAR. Who can solve this dreadfully delicious delectable cruel mystery and find the prisoner, Quintin, the Tryker Ambassador?
