Homins, I bring you the text of the speech King Yrkanis made last night:
Hail Zoraï!
We are all homins of Atys and both our nations believe in higher rationalism of thought and deed. We furthermore share a great homage for our gods and a reverence for the spiritual. It is true; however, that each of us worships a different deity, despite the mutualitys that we share.
We, like you, love the greenwoods and delight in the splendour of the living world that surrounds us as we form our lives around the natural pattern of the seasons.
All homins have suffered during the great swarming and your people most of all felt the brunt of that great menace. Now, however that we have begun to send groups back into the old lands to see what if anything, may have survived there, it becomes impossible to guarantee the safety of every individual against the threats from encroaching bandits. I therefore feel that it is essential that we have to aid and strengthen the many guilds in our countries that they are able to do this.
This is why we have traveled here today to take counsel with your wisest Homins; we seek nothing less than a reworking of the Edict of Four People to reach this goal.

Homins, today Stil Wyler had this to say in Fairhaven:
Hey ho Trykers and guests!
I have some news for you about the treaty.
Our discussions went very well indeed. In the end we both added the points we wished to the treaty and gave it to a prominent neutral aligned, Orphie Dradius, the head of the Rangers to hold in good faith for us all.
There is a point he wanted in the treaty and we agreed that this was important in the face of threats from the Kitin and unforeseen enemies.
Unfortunately Emperor Dexton didn't have time to wait here with me, as he needed to travel immediately to the signing point and left in some secrecy. This secret departure was unavoidable due to security measures necessitated by certain rumours we have heard.
I wish you all a good evening, do go and have a drink together - this is a great day for all Homins!

And here is the test of the Speech given by Mabreka at the end of the talks:
Greetings Zoraï and honoured guests!
I have some news for you concerning our recent negotiations
We have had some very strenuous discussions about the new treaty, but in the end we both managed to come to an agreement and add the parts we most desired to see encapsulated in law for perpetuity. To me safeguarding religion was of paramount importance, Yrkanis was more concerned with outpost issues.
However we have now made a document we are both pleased with, and have given it into the safekeeping of Melgore Folgore of the Rangers, to hold as a neutral in all things. The Rangers had certain points of their own they wished to see added and we have conceded the importance of their wishes.
Unfortunately King Yrkanis has had to depart in haste and secrecy due to some most unpleasant rumours that have been flying in the humid jungle air, and which we sincerely hope are just that - rumours of the insubstantial winds.
I entreat you to go now to the Kami-sanctuary to meditate about the meaning of this auspicious occasion.
