I did make sure to ask if he was sober. He said he wasn't drunk.

He did seem more coherant than normal, so I'm inclined to believe him :)

Hmm, now that I think on it. Yesterday while I was in Pyr, I heard Wormbreath shouting in region something about the old lands. I do not know what it was all about, I believe I only caught the last bit of it.

He said an intact city was found in the old lands with homins and an old government.

The Trytonists are the followers of Elias Tryton. The Guild of Elias recently went down into the deep roots in search of something. This is only a recent occurance though, the Kitin were a threat long before they went down there.

The kitin BECAME a threat due to improper excursions by YOUR forefathers into their lands.
Kitins were huge insects that inhabited the Prime Roots. One day, in their interminable quest for the Dragon, Fyros excavators uncovered a nest of the creatures. Fraught with fear and horror, their immediate reflex was to destroy the first giant insects they came across. But alerted by the slaughter, legions of soldier kitins suddenly surged forth from underground galleries to eradicate what they considered as their natural enemy. And so the Great Swarming began... Homin cities were decimated after epic battles, entire populations were massacred and precious knowledge lost. And still the kitins spread over the Bark like wildfire and one after the other the great civilizations crumbled to dust.
We were saved by the Higher Powers.
FYROS NEW BEGINNING
From 2481 the kitins set out on a crusade to obliterate all traces of hominkind. Many homins were able to escape through teleportation `rainbows' leading to safe haven in the Prime Roots of faraway lands. Kami and Karavan forces did their best to give homins safe conduct to the rainbows until these too were destroyed by kitins.

After being led to safety by the Karavan, the Fyros and Zorai turned their backs on them.
2483
Resurfacing from Prime Root sanctuary after Karavan go ahead.
Take possession of desert lands.
2483
Resurfacing from Prime Root sanctuary after Karavan assurance that kitins no longer present a threat.
Take possession of the jungle lands.
Elias is but an oppurtunist that did little to help us rebuild our current lands, Trytonists are merely disenfranchised homins that have yet to find their way.

The Trytonists did not learn from the mistakes of our past and threaten to make the Kitin threat against us grow once again. Their ventures into the deep roots puts us all at risk and should be stopped by any able homin at all costs.

We were lucky to have been helped survive the first Kitin swarming by the Kami and the Karavan... we may not be so lucky next time since sides have been chosen. Our cities have no built in defenses and or lands are only beginning to spawn remote outposts to give us advanced warning.

What will you tell your children when they ask you why the kitins are attacking our cities again ? Don't let it be that you encouraged instead of stopped, the Trytonists from venturing into places we have been told to avoid.

The Guild of Elias must be stopped at all costs, there is no greater threat to all homins.

I am well aware of what the old Fyros did. He asked and I gave him a basic answer. I don't think he really wanted a long drawn out history lesson. Still the Kitin were a huge threat long before the Guild of Elias went down there.

Although technically I'm not jsut a Fyros as my lineage is a little twisted and mixed up. I don't think my grandfather would be to happy with being accused for what the Fyros did.

Hmmm, these two are a little shaky DT, aren't they? :) Firstly, although the Fyros expedition may have 'broken into' a Kitin nest or lair, how can any homin say that the Kitin were actually disturbed? Is it not the case that the Kitin could have been preparing at that very moment, and that the Fyros simply met them a short time earlier than fate had decided? I don't think any homin could truly say they know the mind of a Kitin, and hence we could have just accelerated their efforts rather than causing them in the first place? :)

Also, the scripts tell us quite clearly that the Homins were led to safety by both the Kami and the Karavan - since these entities are opposed on at least a basic ideology level, doesn't it make sense that one of them would be shunned eventually? And would your comment be the same if these Homins had shunned the Kami? :)

(If I'm talking rubbish here just tell me to shut up, I won't mind, and I haven't read the Lore for aeons :) )

How quickly homins forget and ignore what they don't like or understand.

Allow me to correct your statement to a more truthful one:

After being led to safety by the Karavan and Kami, the Fyros and Zorai choose to follow the Kami. The Tryker and Matis choose to follow the Karavan.
