Another option, if you can't be attacked after respawning until you do something, is to wait, heal, and coordinate in a secure channel. The only problem here is the enemy's being able to pick the range ... melee starting right on top of you, and them being able to nuke your healers, can't be any fun...

I realise that the intention of this post was a good one - but the whole case behind this issue is a lot deeper than you perhaps realise so I have to remove this text until it is resolved in a constructive and reasonable fashion.

Concidering the fact that kami are usually outnumbered,Respawning far away each time really would not be fun at all.I'm sure both sides would agree that a 10 minute wait between each 30 second-1 minute battle would get very old very quick.
As for me when im fighting,I do my best to keep my team from spawn camping,and everyone who has seen me fight knows that I wont flame for any reason,So we all just need to work together.
Sorry I could not fight yesterday(sat.)but I was semi afk the whole time so I would have been no help to my friends.But while I was there both sides did very well not spawn camping or flaming.Good job all

I don't think the poster is saying it isn't good sportsmanship, rather the person getting nuked at the closest tp is a bit dim for reappearing there each time they die. I like the idea, PvP'ers will have more of a chance to think about teaming/healing and tactics if they have to run a little ways before they re-engage.

Person versus person, the ultimate form of combat in MMO.
Fighting against an intelligent thinking being trying to out-think them out-manouver them. The months in preparation learning about the stanzas, gathering equipment learning the systems.
Just seems that spawn camping negates all that. If you want PvP why would you do it?

What a wonderful Idea!!!!!!

Having to respawn points inside the arean, one on each side of it. When involved in a pvp atcion this would be the respawn point. Thus either get involved back in the battle or tp out to a safer.
The only actions in the Arena would be to battle there instead of a city. then there would be no spawn camping in yrk.
These two respawn points would only be open to pvp players (tagged).

there is only one outpost in majestic garden. and its a long way from the spawn points.. Anyone defending that outpost has no reason to be at the spawns, - unless they are spawn camping. Spires - I beleive we have been told they will not be present in the level 50/home regions.. so apart from generic, pointless faction V faction brawling, there is no reason for there to be a problem with spawns in majestic garden.
If people are determined to create a problem, then the CSRs/GMs should be allowed to deal with it.
