Is it really that bad, Rushin? I changed from 2h sword to 1h mace a while ago, still about 20 levels until I reach the same level. I think it measures up pretty good though, fights take longer time. Too bad I can't see whether if my blunt "Slow"-hit is successful or not.

Two kipees, bacuus...hmm... learn how gingos fight! I should show you my scars some day. There's at least a dozen Gingo bites to every Kipee bruise.

And welcome! :D

I originally thought to do 2h (actually bought one), but I thought about it and I want to be more defensive, aka live longer, but I guess there is a trade-off in def vs. killing it faster. I guess I just need more experience to see if having a shield actually pays off versus the hurry up and kill method.

Well so far in newbie-land i fear not the gingo, but from the sound of it, maybe I should. I have 350hp now and each gingo hit is usually 37-57 dmg whereas the kipee hits are 107 each. I was lucky in that fight...i got a dodge when I had about 10 hp left :-D

it's not that bad :) will be not bad at all when they get round to giving some tlc to 1h (and ranged of course). However one on one with a 2h warrior it's not competative which is a shame.

Not to turn this thread into a debate on 2h vs. 1h, but if daggers are included in 1h, someone wielding two daggers can defeat someone wielding a 2h sword.

I think 1h and 2h are fairly balanced...1h makes up for its lesser damage with higher speed and dual-wielding/shield.
