Trinity returned briefly to Ryzom not too long ago, but left rather quickly as she was dissatisfied with the changes that have been made to the game. She has been playing a few other games since her departure from Ryzom including, but not limited to, City of Heroes, WoW, D&D. Also, though I have no confirmation on this, I suspect she might be back a bit in URU as that is where a large portion of the original group of OOC came from and there has been some recent activity in bringing URU back online.

Well well, I didn't expect my name to pop up after this long Hello again to those who know me, and greetings to those who don't

Crikey, I last played Ryzom in... May 05 I think it was, or maybe April. I've been de-subbed since then, but reading the forums fairly regularly as a guest. It's nice to see some familiar names are still posting regularly. I played WoW until January, and decided to try RF Online. I beta'd it (if you can call 2 weeks of open testing beta), and then played a week and a bit of my free month *sigh*

My WoW sub will stay open, as I genuinely enjoyed playing the game up to level 60 - I was lucky I guess, in that all of the people I played with were genuinely great people - an old friend Ryo was guild leader, and I met him playing the Ryzom Open Beta in early 04 I have to say though, except for the people in my guild and a few chance meetings, I met very few genuinely nice people compared to my days playing Ryzom Sadly, the guild decided to merge with a bunch of loot-crazy raiding types, and things went downhill - in other words Daz spoke his opinion rather loudly (ahem), and ejected himself I think with nigh-on 10 million subs, they will soon give a proper name to loot-obsessed-stat-bonus-purple-writing-whore-syndrome. I exagerrate not...

Bizarrely, I decided to resub to Ryzom so I could post here, and I had the game stored away in a zip... so installed and patched up lol. It was really nice to see Zora again, and I had a good chuckle when it started raining *again*. Then I noticed I have crap fame for everything, and can't even buy the damn TP I just used Still, seeing Dazman pop up on the char select screen was nice

I was pretty gutted to read about the Jyudas situation - and surprised to see that isn't turned around by the fact he's still playing the game Say hello for me please Kos - although I may well pop online again to say it myself Need to kill more than 4 kipees to get those TP tickets first I guess... amen for stackable tickets eh?

Reminds me that I need to figure out where my game is stored so I can go take a look at the cavern again. There are probably a few Ryzom players (or at least former Ryzom players) back in Uru these days.

I think it's safe to say those reactions are fairly unique to this community Thanks Ali and Kos, and it's good to be speaking to you guys again I lost count of the number of times I read the forums, and wanted to click the Reply button...

Oh, the list of names... Blogie was Azal ingame, and although sometimes controversial and often misunderstood, he was both a good person and a good player - I spent a lot of time with him ingame. Also his wife Ellen - although I can't remember her player name, and that annoys the hell out of me (because I also spent a lot of time chatting ingame and helping her level) She may still be in my friends list tho... Anyhow IIRC, they both went to WoW shortly before I did the same. Sadly I don't know which server they went to, so the chances of catching up with them are fairly slim I think

EDIT: By the way, would anyone know if Twitches is still around, my old Zorai buddy? He's probably the slowest email replyer in the world, so it's probably easier to ask you guys than send a mail and ask him personally hehe. He'd generally be seen loitering around Min-Cho stables, or labouring over a resource spot in Kipee Mull.
